BOOMTOWN Accelerator Boots Up Second Class
Boulder-based startup accelerator BOOMTOWN said this morning that it has launched its second class of startups, selecting nine startups out of more than 300 applicants for the program. The startup accelerator said those startups are participating in a twelve week session, to culminate in a demo day on November 12th. The demo day is going to be at the new favorite demo day location in Boulder, the Boulder Theater. The company said it would release the names and details on the new startups at demo day, but did mention that the startups are working on such areas as mobile parking information; extended warranties; Internet-of-Things; spreadsheet connectors; health information; crowdfunding; and much more. Boomtown offers up $20,000 in seed money, plus $40,000 in in-kind services to its startups.
