Domo Taps Fusion-io IPO Vet As General Counsel
Provo, Utah-based Domo, the heavily backed developer of business analytics software led by Omniture founder Josh James, said last week that it has named Daniel Stevenson as General Counsel. Stevenson was previously General Counsel at Fusion-io, where he helped the company with its IPO and recent sale to SanDisk. Stevenson also served at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, the high profile, Silicon Valley law firm. Domo has scored an astounding $250M in funding from such investors as Benchmark, Fidelity Investments, Founders Fund, GGV Capital, Greylock Partners, IVP, salesforce.com, TPG Growth, T. Rowe Price, WPP and Zetta Venture Partners, along with others. Although the company has not talked about any potential future plans, the new appointment of veteran Stevenson would help Domo set itself favorably for any potential IPO or merger deal.
