Zayo Wins Weld County School District

Boulder-based broadband connectivity provider zayo Group--which now has operations worldwide--has scored a win close to home, saying that it has just completed a dark fiber build for the Weld County School District and Greeley, Colorado. Zayo said it has signed a ten year contract with the district, to provide a dedicated, Ethernet network which connects 30 schools and administration buildings. Financial details of the win were not disclosed. Zayo said it invested in 43 miles of new dark fiber in Colorado as part of the deal. Zayo just filed for an IPO last week.
