Mercury Payment Systems Names Compliance Chief

Durango, Colorado-based Mercury Payment SYstems has appointed a new, compliance head, the company said this week, to manage its relationship with partners in the payments industry. Mercury said it has named Pamela Galligan as Chief Compliance Officer and Head of Industry Relations for the company, joining from consulting group Fotec Group LLC. Galligan also has served as an executive at Visa, as well as Barclaycard US and at Bank of America. Mercury Payment Systems provides payment technology and services for the SMB market. Mercury is in the midst of a confidential IPO.
