ArmorActive Acquired By Mobile Technologies

Salt Lake City-based ArmorActive, which develops technology to enclose tablets in kiosks, has been acquired by Mobile Technologies Inc., the companies said this week. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Mobile Technologies Inc. is a portfolio firm of private equity investor Hammond, Kennedy, Whiteney & Co. ArmorActive's enclosures enable iPad and various Android and Windows tablet devices to be fully enclosed in retail environments. ArmorActive's CEO is Scott Paul.
