GoDaddy Bolsters e-Commerce With Spree Commerce

Scottsdale, Arizona-based online domain and hosting provider GoDaddy is extending out its menu of offerings this morning, saying that it has partnered with e-commerce software provider Spree Commerce, to provide e-commerce solutions for small businesses. The two did not disclosed financial details of the partnership, which makes Spree Commerce's open source, e-commerce software available through GoDaddy. GoDaddy has been in the midst of a major shift to focus on small business customers, which it emphasized in a Super Bowl commercial earlier this month, new small business focused products recently rolled out in January, and a big rebranding last fall.
