AirVend Raises $1.2M
Provo, Utah-based AirVend, a developer of devices which attached to vending machines to display nutrition information, said this week that it has raised $1.2M in a seed funding round. The firm said the funding came from 365 Retail Markets and PS27 Ventures. AirVend develops touchscreen devices which mount on existing vending machines, which allow users to look up caloric information of products in those vending machines, to help vending machine operators meet requirements for caloric disclosure coming through pending laws. AirVend is led by Chad Francis. More information »
