Ascent Solar Extends Distribution In Japan

Thornton, Colorado-based Ascent Solar Technologies said today that it has extended its distribution in Japan. The company has inked deals with Kyodo International Corp. and NARA Co Ltd., to distribute its consumer EnerPlex line in the country. Kyodo is based in Osaka, and NARA is based in Tokyo. Ascent Solar Technologies is making its thin film solar panels available directly to consumers via its line of EnerPlex solar chargers, which are available in a variety of form factors.
