EPIC Ventures Re-Ups Investment In BrightTag

Salt Lake City-based venture capital investor EPIC Ventures said Monday that it has re-upped its investment in BrightTag, a developer of online marketing tools, as part of that company's latest funding round. BrightTag said it raised $27M in that round, led by Yahoo! JAPAN, and also included EPIC Ventures, Baird Capital, I2A, Pritzker Group Venture Capital and TomorrowVentures. EPIC was the co-lead on BrighTag's Series B round, a $5M, funding in August of 2011, and also particpated in a round for the company last year. BrightTag is based in Chicago. More information »
