VictorOps Gets $6.5M For DevOps Software, Plans Big Hiring Boost
Boulder-based VictorOps, which was founded by Todd Vernon, Bryce Ambraziunas, and Dan Jones, has $6.5M more in its pockets this morning, after raising a Series A funding round. The funding was led by Costanoa Venture Capital, and also included Foundry Group. VictorOps develops software to help manage IT operations and software, as part of the "DevOps" movement towards rapid release and fix of software into working, production environments. The company says its software helps manage and remediate software system alerts and outages. VictorOps said it will use the funding to bolster its already large team; the company said it is looking to hire an additional 15-25 people in engineering, support, sales, marketing, and partner management on top of its existing 20 employees.
