Mindshare Buys Empathica

Salt Lake City-based customer feedback management software provider Mindshare Technologies announced this morning that it has acquired Toronto-based Empathica, a developer of social media software for gathering customer feedback. Financial terms of the acquisition was not announced. According to Mindshare, the acquisition was financed in part by its backers, Sorenson Capital and Peterson Partners. Empathica was advised by Cascadia Capital in the deal. Mindshare said the move would help it in the food services and retail industries.
