DISH Network Launches Competing Offer To Buy Sprint

Englewood, Colorado-based satellite broadcaster DISH Network said this morning that it is offering up $25.5 billion in cash and stock, to acquire Sprint NextelSoftbank, which is looking to use Sprint as a way to expand into the U.S. market.
