Pluralsight Debuts Programming Courses For Kids
Layton, Utah-based Pluralsight, the venture-backed provider of online programming courses and education for software developers, is hoping to recruit a new generation of software developers with a new set of courses for kids. The firm--which is venture backed by Insight Venture Partners, and which recently raised $27.5M in venture funding--said the new courses are aimed at kids in elementary, middle, and high school. The startup said it has teamed with the nonprofit Teaching Kids Programming (TKP) to develop a curriculum specifically aimed at teaching kids how to program.
