VCIR Winter Rolls Out Presenting Companies

Venture Capital In the Rockies is gearing up for its winter conference, being held on March 5th through 7th in Beaver Creek, Colorado, and announced the presenting companies Thursday. According to the Rocky Mountain Venture Capital Association, which is organizing the conference, it has selected 22 companies which will present at the event this year. The companies come from Arizona, Colorado, and Utah. The RMVCA said that this year's event has a special emphasis on mobile and cloud computing technology.

The twenty-two early stage and growth companies presenting in the conference will be BlogFrog, BlogMutt, BusyLife Software, CipherPoint, Cloud Elements, ContactPoint, GeoStrut, Giidget, Laconic Security, Lagrange Systems, Mobile Pulse, OpDemand, PaySimple, PlayerLync, Prediculous, RoundPegg,Roximity, Serious Integrated, Surefire Medical, Threadlife, and TruEffect.

The RMVCA said that this year's conference will be headlined by Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper, who will make the opening address to the conference. In prior years, the Venture Capital In The Rockies conferences have attracted one of the highest densities of out-of-area venture capital, angel, and other finance sources for startups.
