ViaWest Opens New Data Center

Denver-based data center and managed services firm Viawest said today that it is getting set for a grand opening on a new data center in North Las Vegas. ViaWest said the new colocation and data center was first announced in the second half of 2012, and will be anchored by a number of customers in the healthcare, marketing, technology, and cloud-based industry; the firm's anchors include Utah's Progrexion, which provides lead generation in the consumer credit arena. ViaWest said its new Lone Mountain data center offers 74,000 square feet of raised floor space, and is 110,000 square feet.
