HireVue Pits Software Recruits Against Coding Challenges, Tests
Looking to hire a great programming whiz, but not sure if they have the right stuff? Salt Lake City-based HireVue is looking to help companies looking to hire the best software developers, by actually providing automated coding and programming challenges as part of online interviews. HireVue said it has launched a brand new product, CodeVue, which includes both video interviews and online coding and programming challenges designed to help non-technical recruiters hire technical talent. HireVue said its new tool is specifically designed to assist recruiters and HR leaders who are often not technically proficient, to run software coding screens early on in the hiring process. HireVue said it supports thirteen different programing languages, and a library or pre-made challenges, which can be provided to candidates online.
