Goal Zero Gains $7M For Solar Charging Products
Goal Zero, a Bluffdale, Utah-based startup developing portable solar power charging systems, has raised $7M in a growth funding from Mercato Partners, the two said today. Goal Zero said that the funding will go towards accelerating retail, online and international sales for the company. Goal Zero develops portable solar power products, including everything from solar chargers for cell phones and laptops, to big solar charging sytsems for televisions and refrigerators. The firm currently sells its products through Amazon.com, Best Buy, Costco, Cabela's, Lowe's, REI and other retailers. More information »
