Foundry Backs Online, Crowd-Sourced Clothing Firm Betabrand

Boulder-based venture capital investor Foundry Group made an investment today, saying it has led a $6.5M Series B funding in Betabrand, an online clothing firm which lets users participate in creating their own fashions. Betabrand lets users choose what kinds of new clothing items will be offered on the website, through a voting process, with plans to let users submit and modify clothing designs, with crowd sourced input and modifications.
