Lumension Buys CoreTrace

Scottsdale, Arizona-based security software developer Lumension said this morning that it has acquired the assets of Coretrace, a developer of application control software used for system security. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Lumension said the acquisition gives it more than 130 customers, key development staff, and OEM, and reseller partners. Both firms provide endpoint security and management tools.
