JDA To Merge With RedPrairie
JDA Software, the developer of enterprise software, is in a merger deal with Atlanta-based RedPrairie, the two said this morning. The two said that RedPrairie will acquire all of the outstanding shares of JDA's common stock for $45 in cash per share. The two said the deal has an enterprise value of $1.9 billion. The two said the offer is a 33 percent premium on JDA's stock price on October 26th, the day before rumors of the deal started circulating in the market. The companies said the merger will create one of the largest global software companies, with over $1 billion in combined revenue.
