Rivet Software Claims Sales Growth

Denver-based Rivet Software says it has been seeing an increase in its sales, claiming that its third quarter sales figures were 50 percent ahead of the same period last year. The firm--which did not release any actual sales figures--provides software used by companies for XBRL filings, financial reporting filings required of public companies. The company claimed it is the twelfth straight, quarter-over-quarter gain for the company. The news companies despite a major layoff at the company in June, which saw the cuts of 150 employees in Denver and another 400 in India.
