Foundry Gets Hat Trick: Raises Third, $225M Venture Fund

Boulder-based venture capital firm Foundry Group has raised another, $225M fund -- Foundry Venture Capital 2012 -- the same size of a fund it announced with its last fund, Foundry Venture Capital 2010, the firm said Friday. The firm said it would continue to invest in seed and early stage investments in software and IT space. Foundry Group is run by Brad Feld, Seth Levine, Jason Mendelson, and Ryan McIntrye. The fund is the third, identically sized $225M fund raised by the firm in a row.
