Door to Door Organics Gets $2M For Home Grocery Delivery
Boulder appears to be the hub of a resurgent, online grocery movement, after Door to Door Organics announced that it had raised $2M in a Series A funding round. The grocery delivery firm, which delivers organic groceries in Colorado, Illinois, Missouri, Michigan, and Pennsylvania, said it raised the funding from Greenmont Capital. The firm is headed by Chad Arnold. The firm says it now offers produce, sustainably raised meat, artisan bread, local dairy, and other items. Door to Door Organics says it has been in operation for seven years; the company joins fellow Boulder firm Mile High Organics in gaining venture backing for its efforts. Mile High Organics announced a funding round from several high profile, Silicon Valley investors in June. More information »
