Webroot Ties With Security Firm

Broomfield, Colorado-based Webroot, the provider of security products, announced this morning that it has partnered with a network security company, Corero Network Security, to integrate its products with Corero's network security software. Webroot said the deal will help provide Corero's solutions with increased real-time protection against malicious threats. Corero's products are used by block malicious IP addresses; Webroot provides its own, IP reputation service which is used by security firms to detect the IP addresses of potential online threats. Corero is a provider of security services to handle Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) and other attacks.
