Balihoo Claims Record Growth

Boise, Idaho-based Balihoo, the venture backed developer of local marketing automation software and services, claims it has record growth in the first half of the year. The firm--which is headed by Pete Gombert--said it doubled revenue growth over the same period in 2011, and increased its national brand customer by 41 percent. The company did not disclose any actual financials, but did say it boosted its headcount by 43% in the first half of the year. Balihoo has been ramping its operations since a $%M funding round in January, led by Openview Venture Partners along with local investor Highway 12 Ventures. Balihoo's services are used to help national brands with a local presence manage their marketing campaigns. The firm's products are particularly well suited to national brands with local affiliates or franchises.
