SendGrid Claims Record Growth, Hits 60K Customers

Boulder-based SendGrid, the provider of email delivery infrastructure, said this morning that it had record growth in the first six months of the year, adding 20,000 new customers. The firm said it is now serving more than 60,000 customers with its services, which help ensure email delivery and help companies manage emails for their web applications. SendGrid, which is headed by Jim Franklin, is venture backed by Foundry Group, Highway 12 Ventures, Bessemer Venture Partners, along with angels.
