Keating Capital Takes Stake In Stoke
Greenwood Village, Colorado-based investor Keating Capital says it has taken a stake in privately held, venture backed company Stoke. Stoke develops technology used for the LTE and 3G telecommunications market. According to Keating Capital, it purchased the shares from Stoke's existing investors, via a secondary transaction. Stoke's investors include Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, Sequoia Capital and Docomo Capital. Keating Capital has been buying up the stock of privately held firms, in the hope that those companies will soon file for a successful IPO. The firm says it has so far deployed $58M across 19 companies. More information »
