ReadyTalk Hands Over Ski Lift Chair To TrackVia

Visitors to Denver-based ReadyTalk, the provider of audio and web conferencing services, have been used to seeing an unusual sight in its lobby--a "ski-lift" chair, an appropriate symbol for the region's outdoor lifestyle. However, ReadyTalk said this week that it is passing over its iconic chair to another local startup, TrackVia, which develops cloud-based software for building business applications. According to the two companies, and the Colorado Technology Association, the companies decided to work together to transfer the chair, as a "symbolic gesture" to Trackvia to take its place as Colorado's next emerging startup. ReadyTalk is in the midst of a move to a bigger space. The firms said the handoff comes due to a similar culture at the companies--with TrackVia going as far as offering unlimited vacation time and flexible work hours to its employees, and scholarships to help employees pursue passions outside the office (including skiing).
