Novinda Raises $6M For Coal Emissions Technology
Denver-based Novinda, which is developing a product to scrub mercury from coal-fired power plants, said this morning that it has raised $6M in a Series C funding. The funding came from New Venture Partners and Altira Group. Novinda is developing mercury emission control technology used to remove mercury from coal smokestakes; the firm said it has developed a reagent which removes mercury with chemical reactions, rather than through absorption technologies. Novinda is headed by Ed Williams. More information »
