Salt Lake City Tops Tech Airport List

Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) has made a list of the top, tech-friendly airports, published by PCWorld this week. PCWorld ranked the airport as number eight among the 40 busiest airports in the United States, based on tech-friendly features like wireless Internet, power outlets, wireless speeds, and work desks. PCWorld said that Salt Lake City International was boosted on its list for the number of electrical outlets at its gates, averaging 5.4 outlets and 3.0 USB ports each; the speed of the airport's WiFi was also cited as a factor in the ranking.
