Intermap Wins Risk Modeling Software Firm

Denver-based Intermap, the provider of mapping data, reported today that it has signed AIR Worldwide, a developer of catastrophe risk modeling software and consulting services, as a customer. Intermap said that AIR Worldwide is using its high resolution elevation data to help develop new catastrophe models for select European countries. Financial impact of the win were not disclosed. Intermap's data will be used for developing high resolution, inland flood models for European countries.
