Circadence Gains Patent
Boulder-based Circadence, a developer of WAN and network optimization products, reported today that it has scored a U.S. patent. The patent, U.S. patent number 8,024,481, covers the firm's technology for assuring delivery of UDP streaming application data, which is typically used in media content. According to the US Patent and Trademark Office, the inventors on the patent were Randy Thornton and Marke Vange, and that the patent was actually granted on September 20th. Circadence initially filed for the patent in 2008, and was represented by Weide & Miller, Ltd. in the filing. Circadence said the patent came out of work of its development team in Tupelo, Mississippi.
