Tendril Extends To Geothermal HVAC Systems

Boulder-based Tendril, the developer of energy management software for the smart grid market, said today that it has linked with WaterFurnace International, a developer of geothermal and water source heat pumps, on a home energy management system. The two said that WaterFurnace has licensed Tendril's platform to deliver home energy management functionality to its customers. Financial details of that license were not announced. WaterFurnace is a manufacturer of geothermal energy systems.
