CasaTunes Upgrades Audio Software
Ft. Collins, Colorado-based CasaTunes, the developer of multi room music software, reports today that it has upgraded its software. The firm said it has added support for iTunes in the Cloud, Android tablet support, integration of a number of A/V receivers, and connections into satellite receivers and cable set top boxes. The firm said the upgrade is free to existing customers. CasaTunes software is used to manage multi room audio systems; the firm was co-founded by David Krinker and Maynard "Kim" Knapp. Krinker was previously involved with Seagate Software/VERITAS and Arcada Software, among other firms; Knapp was founder of Maynard Electronics, which eventually became the core of the tape backup products from Veritas/Symantec.
