Solera Networks Taps Symantec's Eubanks For Board
Salt Lake City-based Soler Networks, the developer of network security analysis and forensics hardware, said this morning that it has added Gordan Eubanks, the former CEO of Symantec Corp., to its board of directors. Eubanks was President and CEO of Symantec, and also served as president and CEO of Oblix, a startup acquired by Oracle in 2005. Solera Networks develops appliance hardware which provides high speed, network monitoring and forensics, enabling real time capture of network packets and events up to 10Gbps. Solera is not the first company in Utah to gain the advice of Eubanks; he also sat on the board of Salt Lake's Oakley Networks before its acquisition by Raytheon.
