Digital Folio Launches Comparison Shopping Add-On

Denver-based Digital Folio, a new startup focused on real-time shopping, said today that it has launched a service which provides price comparisons and money saving offers to online shoppers, as they shop. According to the firm, its browser add-ons run on Internet Explorer 8+ and Firefox 3.6+ for both PC and Macintosh platforms. The add-on allows to drag and drop products from retailer websites to a sidebar, which then immediately pulls up competing prices from other websites on those products. The software also helps users organize shopping lists and track pricing changes, including building daily graphs of the price of different products.
