Grow Utah Targets Medical Devices In New Competition

Grow Utah Ventures, the effort to spur entrepreneurial activity in the state of Utah, has unveiled its latest "Concept to Company" contest, saying the next competition will be for medical device and technology ideas. The group--which has been running a series of contest which award cash and services to the best product or service ideas--said the new Medical Device and Technology "Concept to Company" Contest will run until October 7th. The new contest will offer up $40,000 in cash and services, with the top prize being $21,000. The winner will be announced at the MD4 Utah 2011 Summit at Thanksgiving Point on October 26th. Details on the contest can be found on the group's web site. The new contest is the eleventh contest run by the group.
