Go Daddy Grabs White House Advisor
Scottsdale, Arizona-based Go Daddy, the domain name registrar and Internet services provider, said today that it has snagged former Obama policy advisor and DC attorney Andrew Kline. According to Go Daddy, Kline will serve as its new Deputy General Counsel for Global Policy. The firm said the addition of Kline will help it in international expansion, and also help in fighting online illegal activities such as rogue Internet pharmacies and copyright infringement. Kline was Chief of Staff and Senior Advisor in the Office of U.S. Intellectual Property Rights Enforcement.
