Schedulicity Ties Into Daily Deals

Bozeman, Montana-based Schedulicity, the provider of online appointment scheduling software headed by Jerry Nettuno, said today that it has launched a new scheduling service aimed at helping service providers manage daily deals offers. The firm said its new Deal Manager service helps businesses define the maximum number of appointments that can be generated over the lifespan of a given promotion, and figure the maximum that will be accepted per day or per-deal. The software is aimed at helping schedule dependent businesses manage the popularity of daily deal sites. The firm said the new service is aimed at helping to reduce the issues with using daily deals, which include service providers being "inundated" with one-time appointments and cannibalization of existing business.
