Opengear Names CEO

Sandy, Utah-based Opengear, which develops console server and remote management products for the data center, said today that it has named Rick Stevenson as its new CEO. Stevenson has served at such firms as SnapGear, McAfee, IBM Secure Computing, Stallion Technologies, and Pyramid Technology. Former CEO Bob Waldie becomes Executive Chairman of the firm.
