Grow Utah, Utah State University Get Entrepreneurship Funding
Grow Utah Ventures, the group which has been running startup acceleration and entrepreneurship events in Utah, said today that the Utah Cluster Acceleration Partnership (UCAP), has awarded $69,000 to foster entrepreneurs in southeastern Utah. The funding goes to the Utah State University-Eastern (USU-Eastern) located in Price, Utah. Grow Utah has been trying to bolster entrepreneurs in Utah through a series of business plan competitions and related mentoring efforts. The UCAP program is run by the Utah System of Higher Education, the Governor's Office of Economic Development, and Utah's Department of Workforce Services.
