Go Daddy: Nearly $3M To Charity This Year
Scottsdale, Arizona-based GoDaddy, the domain name registrar and Internet services company, reports today that it has donated almost $3M to charities in 2011 so far. According to the company, its charity division, Go Daddy Cares, has donated more tha $2.8M to a variety of causes so far this year. The firm said that over the weekend, the firm donated $2.5M to help fight Parkinson's disease. The donation went via the Celebrity Fight Night charity event over the weekend in Scottsdale. The firm said it donated $3M to charity in 2010. Go Daddy is fully owned by CEO Bob Parsons.
