Needle Launches Social Chat, Coupon Software

Draper, Utah-based Needle, a new startup headed by Morgan Lynch, said today that it has launched a suite of social commerce tools. The firm said it has created chat integration software which allows companies to interact with users on Facebook, plus create personalized coupons for customers. Lynch is the former CEO and Chairman of Logoworks, which he sold to HP back in 2007, after gaining funding from top tier venture firms Shata Ventures and Benchmark Capital. Needle says its product--which posts those personalized coupons to users Facebook wall--helps ecommerce marketers reach more than just the one person they chatted with, with the opportunity to reach two to three hundred other users. Among Needle's customers is local audio headset firm Skullcandy.
