TechStars Gets $200K For Software Effort

Boulder-based TechStars has just gained $200,000 in funding from the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, the two said Wednesday, to help build software to power seed incubation programs. According to the two, TechStar is building software to be utilized by the TechStars Network, which will help handle application processing and tracking systems for seed accelerator programs in the TechStars Network. The Network was launched on January 31st as part of the Startup America Partnership. That effort--headed by TechStars' David Cohen--is aimed at helping to replicate the TechStars model nationally, to help grow startups and companies across the United States through affiliated seed incubation programs.
