Go Daddy Launches DNS Offering
Scottsdale, Arizona-based Go Daddy announced today that it has launched a premium DNS (Domain Name System) service. The firm said the service provides a 99.999 percent uptime guarantee, as well as faster DNS resolution and better security via DNSSEC. The company said the service--with DNSSEC enabled--will help prevent traffic from being diverted to malicious computers in Internet attacks. GoDaddy's service is priced at $2.99 a month for a 12 month contract.
