eBags.com Opens Call Center In Illinois
Denver-based eBags, which operates an online site selling luggage and other bags, said last week that it has opened up a new, domestic call center in Peoria, Illinois. The firm said the new center will create 28 new jobs in the area, and help expand its customer service hours to 24/7. eBags said it selected a domestic call center--despite the fact that it isn't the lowest cost option for the firm--because it believed a domestic operation would help through additional immediate sales, quicker issue rseolution, and ultimately higher customer retention. The firm is using contact center provider Affina for the call center services.
