ViaWest Hires Texas GM

Denver-based ViaWest, which provides colocation and managed services, said Wednesday that it has hired a General Manager in Texas. The firm said John Greenwood joins as Texas Regional Vice President and General Manager, heading up responsibility for the firm's six data centers in Dallas and one data center in Austin. Greenwood was most recently at CyrusOne in Dallas, and also has served at AT&T. ViaWest says it currently as 19 data centers across five states. The firm said the Texas market is one of its largest.
