NewsGator Launches New Ideas Module

Denver-based NewsGator, the developer of enterprise social networking software, said today that it has launched a new product, "Idea Stream for Social Sites 2010". The firm said the new module allows employees of companies to propose new ideas to an organization, allowing colleagues to comment, "like", or vote on those ideas. Pricing on the new module was not announced. The firm said the new capabilities will be available later this month. NewsGator's software is used within Microsoft SharePoint to add social features, such as news streams, comments, and other social networking tools within Microsoft's portal software.
