ZAGG In Wireless Distribution Deal
Salt Lake City-based ZAGG, a manufacturer of protective skins for consumer electronics products, said today that it has signed a distribution deal with a un-named mobile phone carrier. The firm said it will sell its invisibleSHIELD for Apple's iPad at what it says is the nation's largest mobile phone carrier, which has over 93 million subscribers. ZAGG said its invisibleSHIELD for iPad is being sold at both retail stores and on that carrier's website. Although ZAGG did not name the carrier, the largest US wireless carrier is Verizon Wireless--which is right around 93 million subscribers--and which also just launched an effort to sell Apple's iPad at its stores and website.
