EA Opens Doors In Salt Lake City
Videogame developer Electronic Arts said Wednesday afternoon that it is officially opening up its new video game development studio in downtown Salt Lake City. EA said that new studio at EA Salt lake City has been responsible for such titles as MONOPOLY, LITTLEST PET SHOP and NERF, all under license from Hasbro, and developed under the EA Play Label. The new facility covers 20,000 square feet. EA previously had a facility in Bountiful, which has closed and moved to the new studio. EA said the location now houses 100 employees in engineering, design, project management, marketing, production, audio, art and animation.
